What is your name and where do you live?
I am Gris, I come from Berlin.
In which techniques do you mainly work?
In watercolour.
Do you have favourite subjects? What inspires you?
That depends on trends. What I almost always like: untidy, dirty surroundings and people.
And where do you like to paint best?
In the sun. In an orthopedically almost correct position.
Can you still remember your first Schmincke colour?
The first one I could use and my first box, yes. Surprisingly good. I remember my first watercolour painting as if it was yesterday. A crimson red Christmas ball and a Christmas tree in the background. The watercolour box belonged to my uncle's wife at the time and after a minute we both knew what I was going to get for Christmas.
What are your favourite colours?
HORADAM® watercolour and AERO COLOR® Professional.
Some of my favourite colours are also depending on trends.
These three HORADAM® watercolours are always a good choice:

- Neutral tinte (782) und
- Quinacridon gold hue (217).
And what is special about them?
HORADAM® watercolour is the most convincing colour system. You can never go wrong with it. Unbeatable. The AERO COLOR® Professional Opaque white is the most liquid opaque white I could find.
How can one learn from you?
In Workshops at the Grishaus in Berlin, at many demo events in art material shops and on painting trips with artistravel or private painting trips, for example to France and Italy.
