50073

Handling

    • Venetian turpentine resin is soluble in oil of turpentine 50024 / 50102 or turpentine substitute 50019.
    • For a standard venetian turpentine resin solution as additive in tempera colours please mix 1 part of Venetian turpentine resin with 3 parts of a solvent mentioned above (per weight). Our recommendation: The process should optimally be done at room temperature. For better handling of the high viscous resin the sealed container is allowed to warm up in a water bath (max. 50 °C!). (Advice: Do not place the container for heating directly on a hot plate or something similar!)
    • Please clean tools as soon as possible with turpentine substitute 50019, oil of turpentine 50024 / 50102 or brush cleaner 50051 / 50052.
    • A dried Venetian turpentine resin remains soluble in oil of turpentine 50024 / 50102 or turpentine substitute 50019.
    • Close immediately after use.
    • Store in a cool and dry place.
    • Individual pre-tests are required.
