Final varnish for paintings in oil made from best white Palembang-dammar. Glossy; hardly yellowing; fast drying.

Thinner: Turpentine substitute (50019)

 

 

Handling

    • Shake well before use.
    • The product is ready to use, but can be diluted with e.g. oil of turpentine 50024 / 50102 or turpentine substitute 50019.
    • May only be applied with a suitable varnish brush at room temperature to the layer of oil paint after it has dried completely, i.e. after 8 – 12 month at the earliest.
    • Please clean tools as soon as possible with e.g. oil of turpentine 50024 / 50102, turpentine substitute 50019 or brush cleaner 50051 / 50052.
    • The dried varnish layer remains soluble in oil of turpentine 50024 / 50102, turpentine substitute 50019 or varnish remover 50060 over a long period.
    • The varnish coats normally used in practice give no special UV protection to the paints used. For this reason, we recommend that you use high-quality and lightfast oil paints from the outset as far as possible.
    • Close immediately after use.
    • Store in a cool and dry place.
    • Individual pre-tests are required.

                    Safety precautions

                    Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Do not breathe vapours. Avoid release to the environment. Wear protective gloves and eye/face protection. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor/..  IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. IF SWALLOWED: rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.

                    Other hazards
                    Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
