You will need:
- AERO COLOR® Professional colours of your choice, here: SUPRA White, opaque (28101), BASIS Magenta (28304), Red madder dark (28301), Indian yellow (28203), Brown Brasil (28602) and Turquoise blue (28406)
- Silk, for example Pongee-Silk 08, 45 x 45 cm
- Da Vinci Cosmotop Spin brush No. 14
- Painting ground (canvas, acrylic paper, Encausticbord (Ampersand) 40 x 40 x 2,2 cm)
- Spray bottle, filled with water
Put a wrinkled silk cloth, for example pongee silk, onto your painting ground (acrylic paper, canvas or painting board) - this will help you to create abstract colour applications and awesome colour flows.
The silk must be wetted slightly using the spray bottle with water and be arranged to a spontaneous drapery. Now you shake the chosen bottles of AERO COLOR® Professional and apply some colours carefully with the pipette. I start with the colours BASIS Magenta, Red madder dark and Brown Brasil.
Before you take off the silk, the colours and the silk must dry for a short time (the silk should be "semi-dry"- not wet, not dry). When taking off the cloths, you will find an amazing colour flow, three-dimensional-like colour surfaces, hard lines as well as flowing colourspaces. Please wash and dry the silk directly, it will be used again in the next step. The applied colours must dry completely.
Put the dry cloth again onto the painting ground and apply somemore colours. You better take the same or similar colours (red-brown-orange range). A brush can help to spread the colours in some areas. To create a base, you apply the darker colours dense onto the bottom part of the painting. The silk must be taken off again after a shorttime. Wash and dry the silk again.
The result is already amazing. To the top, the colour flow becomes delicate and merges with the white of the painting ground. To the bottom, the colours become denser and more intense, the spontaneous colour areas form great contrasts with the white of the painting ground.
For more density and accentuation, we take again our silk and applysome more colours - now we take yellow, orange, green and turquoise colours. Be care- and mindful and arrange the colours properly. Here you can see that I put the turquoise tones only on the top of the painting and the other colours basically on the bottom. The silk mustslightly dry again before being taken off.
Meanwhile, you have an interesting netting out of several colours. In the next step, you wet the bottom of the painting with the spraybottle and apply some drops of AERO COLOR® Professional SUPRA White, opaque directly from the pipette. You will achieve a slight mist as well as flowing lines when tilting and moving the painting ground. You also can "paint" directly with the pipette and add some more white lines or drops.
With a brush, you can finally apply some more colour to intensify special parts of the painting.
