With the new product „medium L“, Schmincke completes its range of mediums for oil colours. Medium L allows to paint very „soft/ smoothly” with oil colours: it improves the flow properties and reduces brush strokes retention in all kind of oil painting techniques. The painting medium also increases gloss and transparency of oil colours. In contrast to rich drying oils like linseed oil or stand linseed oil normally used for this purpose, medium L speeds the drying time.
