With the new Pouring medium S we offer from mid-December a new medium which, combined with silicone oil, provides spectacular cell effects in the pouring technique. Pouring techniques with acrylic colours are still very popular. A typical effect is the cell formation of the colours, which leads to spectacular results. Cell formation occurs through the addition of some silicone oil to the medium-acrylic paint mix.
The Pouring Medium S is - on customer request - in addition to the already established Pouring Medium (50546), which dries clear-transparent and water-resistant - a specially developed medium for cell formation (available in 500 ml and 1l). It is mixed with acrylic colours to improve their flow properties. Pouring Medium S can also be diluted with water and combined with silicone oil to increase cell formation. It dries waterproof and forms a light-stable, flexible film. Do not use below 15°C. Substrates must be clean, not too absorbent, sustainable and grease-free, pre-tests are recommended, do not pour leavings into the drain.
