The range

AQUA Drop is a range of liquid, highly lightfast watercolours based on pigments ready for immediate use. The 24 transparent colours can be diluted with water as needed. They are ideal for techniques such as watercolour painting, urban sketching, calligraphy and hand lettering.
The well-balanced colour palette includes 13 single-pigment colours with evocative names like Jade Green, Amethyst Violet or Amber. All colours are priced in the same group. The colours, including the Opaque White are contained in useful 30 ml plastic pipette bottles with a ball for easy color mixing.

Versatile combinations

All AQUA Drop colours can be mixed and combined with other watercolours such as HORADAM Aquarell and AKADEMIE Aquarell. The Opaque White can be used as a pure opaque white or mixed with AQUA Drop to create highlights using a brush or pen.
 

For painting, drawing and writing

The AQUA Drop Liner with a brush tip for filling is excellent for various painting and writing techniques. It can be filled with all AQUA Drop colours except for those mixed with Opaque White. We recommend shaking the AQUA Drop well before usuage.

Paper note

AQUA drop is a watercolour and is suitable for all watercolour papers and canvas with appropriate priming. For an even application with the AQUA Drop Liner, smoother, satin-finish papers are recommended.
In general, the purer the colours are applied and the more absorbent the surface, the more firmly the pigments will anchor in the substrate. Therefore, we advise conducting individual pre-tests before use.
