AERO COLOR Professional Finest Acrylic Ink 

The use of liquid AERO COLOR Professional colours for painting, sketching and mixed-media techniques is more than just a creative trend. Painters and art enthusiasts are excited about the versatile applications of these high-quality acrylic inks. They are not only finely liquid and intensely pigmented but also extremely lightfast. They can be effortlessly applied with brushes, liners and airbrush devices.

The Range 

In addition to the standard colours, the range includes three series with special characteristics: high coverage (Total Cover), high transparency (Candy Colours), and effect colours. This ensures not only brilliant mixing results but also an unlimited variety of colours and effects.

The Standard Colours 

36 finest, highly brilliant standard colours create a harmonious colour assortment for pure application and pure colour mixing. Many of these colours are transparent. The three primary colours (Primary Yellow, Primary Magenta, and Primary Cyan) offer great mixing possibilities, such as creating neutral grey and numerous brilliant secondary colours.

Total Cover Colours 

The 12 satin-matte Total Cover colours provide perfect coverage on dark surfaces due to their special pigmentation. They can be easily mixed and combined with other AERO COLOR Professional colours. The series is easily recognisable by the black labels!

Candy Colours 

The 9 highly transparent colours are particularly suitable for light and effect surfaces. These brilliant tones with strong depth are formulated based on water and pigments, rather than solvents and dyes, making them an environmentally friendly and high-quality choice. They can be identified by the white Candy label.
 

Effect Colours 

For special highlights this range includes 12 effect colours: 

• AERO SHINE for shimmering pearl effects (2 colours) 
• AERO METALLIC for metallic colours (7 colours) 
• AERO VISION for multi-colour effects (3 colours) 

Depending on thickness, substrate colour, lighting, and viewing angle, spectacular effects and attractive colour shimmer can be achieved. The effect colours can be easily combined with each other and with all colours of AERO COLOR Professional.

Properties and Application 

AERO COLOR Professional colours have a pleasant odour, are easy to work with, durable, and dry waterproof on nearly all clean, grease-free surfaces (acrylic and watercolour papers, primed canvases, textured substrates, wood, cardboard, and more). All colours are ready to use and can be used undiluted due to their fine pigmentation. If needed, they can be diluted with water or AERO MEDIUM (50602).
The liquid acrylic inks for painting and writing are ideal for use with brushes, fountain pens, dip pens and Schmincke liners. They are also excellent for various mixed-media techniques, waterproof watercolouring and working in combination with other Schmincke acrylic colours and mediums.

AERO COLOR Professional Liner 

The AERO COLOR Professional Liners are empty pens for self-filling, available in 5 different line widths. They offer the possibility of drawing and sketching in acrylic, as well as writing and signing with AERO COLOR Professional colours. The 6 empty pens can be easily filled with the 36 standard colours, 9 Candy Colours and 12 Total Cover colours. Schmincke also offers compatible replacement tips.
