The range - Balanced and didactically sensible

AKADEMIE oil color offers a harmonious palette of 48 colours that have been carefully selected to provide a balanced and didactically sensible range. This range includes both opaque and transparent colours and is particularly versatile due to the addition of four different white shades each with specific usuage (for mixing with graduated opacity as well as for white underpaintins). Learning to mix pure secondary colours is easy with the three primary colours: Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow.

Brilliant, smooth and drying harmoniously

Thanks to a variety of single-pigment colours these colours deliver brilliant results, whether used in their pure form or in mixtures. The use of natural sunflower oil guarantees not only an optimal drying time but also a smooth consistency.
 

Packaging

AKADEMIE oil color is available in 60 ml tubes with 38 of the most popular colours also available in 200 ml tubes. For special requirements we offer Titanium White in 500 ml jars and 5-liter buckets. Additional colours can also be obtained in buckets upon request.

AKADEMIE oil color is perfect for aspiring artists, students and professionals. Of course, all AKADEMIE oil colors can be effortlessly mixed and combined with other Schmincke oil colours such as MUSSINI, NORMA Professional, and College Oil as well as a wide range of oil mediums.
