AKADEMIE Acryl color - The Range
Schmincke's AKADEMIE Acryl color appeals to ambitious beginners, students, and quality-conscious professionals alike. The 60 brilliant, vibrant, and highly lightfast colours form a colouristically sophisticated assortment of high-quality acrylic paints. This selection includes not only three shades of white and three pure primary colours but also special effect colours like gold, silver, and vibrant neon colours. All colours are formulated without cadmium pigments.
AKADEMIE Acryl color Ink - the liquid form of AKADEMIE Acryl color
The liquid pigmented acrylic ink is suitable for both painting and writing. It can be used with brushes, Schmincke Liner No. 2-6 (except for gold and silver), used directly from the dropper, dip pens, and even an airbrush (sprayable from a 0.3 mm nozzle). The colours can be easily shaken before use thanks to a glass ball in the dropper bottle.
Properties and Application
All AKADEMIE Acryl colours dry completely waterproof. They have a long working time and a pleasant odour. All colours can be mixed and combined with each other and with all other Schmincke acrylic colours (PRIMAcryl, College Acrylic, and AERO COLOR Professional) as well as with all Schmincke acrylic mediums. Suitable painting surfaces include canvas, painting boards, acrylic paper, wood, and other clean, grease-free substrates
