AERO COLOR Professional Mediums
Processing of many substrates and materials with AERO COLOR® Professional Mediums
In principle, working with AERO COLOR® Professional also requires no special tools. The ultra-fine acrylic colours can be used immediately - whether with an airbrush gun, a brush, a drawing pen or with the AERO COLOR® Professional LINERS. However, there are also special AERO media with which you can achieve special properties and effects. The AERO TEX medium (50603) and AERO LACK, aqueous (50604), for example, enable AERO COLOR® Professional to be applied to a wide variety of textiles and leather. AERO METALLIC MEDIUM (50608) produces effective metallic colours. AERO MEDIUM (50602) makes the colours more transparent without losing their adhesion to the substrate, as is the case when water is added. AERO RETARDER (50607) delays the otherwise relatively fast drying of the colours if required. All AERO Mediums are ready to use, but can be diluted with water in any ratio if required. The same applies here as for the acrylic Mediums: Only use at temperatures above 10 °C and protect from frost and temperatures above 40 °C!
Information on the primer AERO GRUND (50601) can be found here. It can also be used to process smooth, non-absorbent substrates such as metal or plastic. If you would like to mask paper before processing with AERO COLOR® Professional, there are various versions of scratch-off crepe (50300, 50303) and masking pens (50730, 50731) available. And of course there are also various options for finishing AERO COLOR® Professional, e.g. with the water-thinnable AERO finishing lacquers glossy (50610), matt (50611) and soft-touch (50612). These are particularly scratch-resistant and dry flexibly.
