AKADEMIE Aquarell comprises 24 highly concentrated watercolours carefully selected for their didactic and colouristic value with most of them rated at 4 or 5 stars for lightfastness. The colours Cadmium Yellow Hue, Magenta and Cyan represent the primary colours and are excellent for learning colour mixing.
By using high-quality artist pigments and an optimal binder combination with natural Gum Arabic you can achieve brilliant mixtures and experience effortless handling even on softer watercolour papers.
 

Painting sets, mediums and creative combinations

Sturdy painting sets are available in various assortments including both half and full pans (10, 12, and 24 pans). Additionally, AKADEMIE Aquarell can be combined and mixed with HORADAM watercolours, Aqua Bronzes and all Schmincke Aqua mediums.
